Frequently asked questions.

What can I expect during my first session?

During the first appointment, expect to have a thorough and efficient assessment, a hands on approach by an experienced physiotherapist and highly tailored aftercare to your needs. Depending on your expectations / goals and assessment findings will guide the first session. If you are a new client, an initial appointment will be required.

Please find a copy of our preparation guide at the bottom of any of the website pages.

How long does the physiotherapy session last?

These sessions may last from 30 minutes to 60 minutes depending on the appointment you have booked into.

How many sessions will I need?

Through discussions with the physiotherapist, this will be advised based on assessment and your goals through your bespoke physio plan. There is also discount options on multiple sessions to make the process more efficient and cost friendly.

Do you provide exercise programmes to do at home or the gym?

Exercise programmes to do at home or within a gym setting may be provided which you will see on your bespoke physio plan. Your physiotherapist will also go through these with you during your session and review in future sessions to progress as required. In your bespoke physio plan we also provide details of the session, diagnosis, aftercare advice and a plan for the future.

Please find a downloadable copy of our aftercare at the bottom of any of the website pages.

Do you offer packages?

Yes, this would be an excellent way to get the best out of your physiotherapy journey! Our 5-session package (£210) includes all follow-ups, with cupping or taping added where clinically helpful. Most clients find this is the easiest way to progress safely and effectively.

What areas do you cover for home visits?

The areas covered will include Wolverhampton and Walsall. If you do not live in these regions, please enquire first via email at info@flexiconnectphysio.co.uk or call on 07590 330512 as this can often change or a physiotherapist may be local to your area on that day.

How should I prepare for my appointment

To best prepare for your physiotherapy appointment, please remember to be aware of your medical history, current medications, reason for booking and your goals of physiotherapy input. Appropriate space for the physiotherapist to work around a 6ft by 3ft treatment bed should be made as well as pets kept under control (always happy to say hello to pets!). It is also recommended to be appropriately hydrated and have eaten a light meal prior to the session but given time for food to digest! You can find a copy of our downloadable guide here. On booking, a downloadable preparation guide will also be sent alongside an aftercare document once the appointment is complete.
